Flowers of Summer

Petunia

We (mostly Audrey) refinished the deck over the Fourth of July weekend.

Then we (all me, this time) installed some railing planters that Audrey’s sister Paula removed from the porch of their new house in Omaha. We (all Audrey, this time) planted petunias from HyVee Drug store in them, and the refinished deck indeed looks festive.

Day Lily

Love this peach colored day lily that started blooming today

So, some petunia images and what is blooming in the garden right now.

love your slide show! You’ll have to show me how to do that on here.

When you choose “insert image,” pick all the photos you want to upload. I name mine when I edit them so they are all grouped on the file list, so I can choose a group (15 in this case) with a quick “click, shift+click).” They will crunch for a while, so open Facebook on another tab and waste some time. When they are all uploaded, you can add captions to each–just keep captions short if you’re going to do a slideshow. Make sure to “save changes” or you’ll lose the captions. When that is done, close the views of each photo so you see the whole list, and somewhere (at the top, I think, but it might be at the bottom) you can insert either a slideshow or gallery, based on the photos you have uploaded into this post. Even after adding slideshow, you can still post individual photos, as you can see from this post. I don’t mind galleries, but like the look of a slideshow, so I use that more often–especially if I want to post more than 3 or 4 photos.
