I’m an Associate Professor of Communication at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids Iowa and a summer gardener. Despite the “gardenjoe” title, this blog is just a random collection of my thoughts on any topic. I’m married, I have six children and five grandchildren. And one more grandchild on the way in 2011.
